Well, I didn't quite annouce I was going to be there... but there I was, selling some stuff on a table I shared with .

Otakuthon this year felt kind of weird for me... I've been absent from it ever since Yume Dream ended, and being there in the Palais des Congrès of Montréal this time felt... weird, and empty, somehow, despite the size of the con. It was too spacious for the percentage of people that actually strolled in the alleys. Hence the emptiness, I guess. And Otakuthon crew felt a little overwhelmed, for example people for the artist alley didn't really get their badges before 5:15-5:30pm on friday; the waiting line was pretty much frozen between 3:00 and 5:00, with lots of confusion.
Still, it's nice to see a Quebec convention growing steadily, and seeing more and more people sharing my interests is always refreshing.

I had great neighbors during the con : and . We had loads of fun, shared food and stuff; the mood was awesome! I got to meet a few deviants I like and respect a lot, and got to draw them a little something as a sort of thank-you-gift-for-being-so-cool XD (Really, they were supposed to be artist trading cards, but I didn't get to finish them before the con, and had this great idea of custom drawings I really like so~...!) Those deviants included , , and . Borammy gave me a drawing as a thanks, too, I was sooooo intensely happy! *sparkly eyes* Sure didn't expect it! I'll treasure it dearly^^

I bought a lot of art, but I don't think I'll get out of the province any year soon since I'm going back to school, so I wanted to make sure I got something from every artist I liked in case they wouldn't come back next year. was also there, gosh can he draw O_o;;; It's obvious in his gallery, but really mind-blowing in reality when you look at his awesome wall of uber huge quality prints! I also found some little geeky stuff for myself, including an awesome State Alchemist watch, very nicely done! It even features Ed's scribbling in the inside panel.

That pretty much sums it. I'm still cleaning the mess I made of my appartement during the con. XD Convention days really are way too hectic lol. Overall, I loved Otakuthon, despite the weird modd I had and little problems we faced here and there. I'll definately come back next year, this time hopefully with a nice little manga of my own to sell...
